chu-treichville-mission-cote-ivoire-2016The EHESP School of Public Health was solicited by Expertise France, a French agency for international technical cooperation, to provide a technical expertise with the aim of strengthening the capacities of the Ivorians working in the field of hospital management and inspection within the medical sector.

 

This project is carried out within the scope of the Debt Reduction-Development Contract (C2D) concluded between the Republic of Ivory Coast and France, and more specifically of the Health System Performance Reinforcement Project (PRSS) lead by the Ivorian Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene.

With this in mind, 2 members of the EHESP, Claude-Anne Doussot-Laynaud, professor at the Institute of Management and director of hospital, and Regine Ducos, director of International Relations travelled to Abidjan from 12 to 16 September. The objectives of their mission were to establish the current status of education in the sphere of the management and inspection, and to identify the local partners in the implementation of the project.

Apart from the meetings with ministerial authorities of the health and public service, the health specialists held a series of discussions with the local educational actors of the National Administration School (ENA) and the National Institute of Public Health (INSP).
