Action principles
All courses provided by the EHESP are the subject of an evaluation process which involves all those concerned (students, teachers, management, health professionals and employers). In this context, evaluation aims for the continuous improvement of the quality of courses.
All those concerned express their view of and expectations for:
- the organisation
- the training process
- the results of the training
This allows all parties to determine the adjustments needed to provide better coverage of their requirements.
The results of the various evaluations are discussed at ad hoc committee meetings (departmental committee, professional education committees, professional development committee).
Analysing these results leads to:
- rational management of the changes to be made to the courses
- adaptation to changes in requirements.
Implementation levels
Systematic evaluation system
This system applies to all professional development sessions and modules for the duration of training or professional development courses.
External post-training evaluation
This applies to all students who have taken training or professional development courses and is carried out over the telephone by an external organisation.
Targeted evaluation studies
These are carried out depending on the results of the systematic or post-training evaluations and when required for strategic reasons (redefinition of a training course, response to a new requirement, etc). They are carried out by external organisations.
Transverse and longitudinal analyses
The results from the various evaluations are used to reveal problems common to different courses which require a more centralised approach.
