Expert opinions

For government organisations

The DSET contributes expert opinions for:

• the Haut Conseil de Santé Publique (chairman of the environmental risk committee and members of the working groups),
• national health and safety organisations (AFSSET, AFSSA, InVS) as members of the scientific committees, expert committees and working groups,
• the ADEME,
• the Precaution and Prevention Committee of MEEDDAT (Ministry for Ecology)
• research programmes, by evaluating proposals submitted at national (ANR, AFSSET, IRESP, etc) or European (PCRD) level.

The DSET is also involved in regional or local conferences or committees (regional health conference, Coderst (departmental committee for the environment and sanitary and technological risks, etc).

For public or private organisations

The DSET provides expert opinions in the environmental and occupational health field at the request of public or private organisations.

Studies

The department carries out studies in the environmental and occupational health field at the request of public or private organisms.

These studies may call on the analysis services of LÉRES.

They may call on end-of-study theses written by student engineers, work experience reports and comments and reports from environmental health workshops.
