A recognised, efficient laboratory with close links to research.
LERES has a wide range of facilities for analysing environmental quality parameters (water, air, solids). The laboratory can carry out more than 900 types of analysis or measurement (list available on request) for water, sewerage, air, sludge, sediment, dust, etc to meet requirements from private individuals, manufacturers, consultants, local authorities or public bodies.
In 2007, LERES produced more than 200,000 reports, based on over 15,000 samples.
LERES is a 1000 m² laboratory on the EHESP site to the north west of Rennes. It has up-to-date analysis facilities (GC/MS/MS, UPLC/MS/MS/, ICP/MS, RTPCR, etc) and quality procedures to guarantee the measurements. It was accredited by COFRAC (pdf, 202 ko) in 2000 (accreditation n°1-1951, scope available on www.cofrac.fr), and approved by the ministries responsible for the health (pdf, 25 ko) and the environment (pdf, 228 ko).
LERES has highly qualified managers and teams for analysis work (PhDs, engineers, analyst technicians and samplers) in 4 analysis units (pdf, 27 ko).
A team of three (manager, chemical technician and micropollutant technician) is always on call 24 hours a day to take samples and carry out analyses.
LERES carries out analyses for external customers as well as for internal research projects.
