The Department of Epidemiology assures teaching in both the MPH and doctoral programs. It also ensures the completion of the core requirements in epidemiology for all tracks in the other professionalizing formations at EHESP. Teaching in the Department of Epidemiology is provided by our in-house and adjunct faculty, as well as invited guest lecturers from around the world. Our philosophy is to ensure the highest quality teaching and we have no hesitation in bringing experts, national and international, to provide their invaluable experience both methodologically and substantially. As research, teaching is at the core of our commitment to excellence. Our teaching in ensured in close collaboration with the Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, with several faculty crossing the pond often.
We provide as an example the Epidemiology teaching program for MPH degree (pdf, 191 kb). For 2009-2010, a Psychiatric epidemiology course will be added as a substantive.
