Curriculum

After completing my 6th year medical school in 2015 at Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris VI, I did my Master degree (Master in Science, Technology, Health : speciality Epidemiology, also at Paris VI. I then worked from 2016 to 2019 in the Social Epidemiology Research Team (ERES) of Pierre Louis Institute of Epidemiology and Public Health (IPLESP), INSERM UMRS 1136 on several projects, mainly on behavioral difficulties in children and tobacco smoking.

Research

My main field of interest is mental health and I worked mainly on 2 topics:

1. Smoking:

I studied the association between electronic cigarette use and smoking (reduction and cessation among smokers and relapse among former smokers)  in CONSTANCES cohort (doi:10.1001/jamainternmed.2019.1483). I then evaluated whether smokers were more likely to purchase tobacco from abroad depending on their driving distance from a border after new anti-tobacco measures in France, including the introduction of plain tobacco packaging, with data from the DePICT study.

2. Child development:

I studied whether early childcare from 0 to 3 years (centre-based childcare or childminder vs. informal childcare) was linked to children's behavioural trajectories from 3 to 8 years in the EDEN mother-child cohort.

During my PhD, I aim to continue my research on the link between early childcare and children's development, in the ELFE cohort.
