Research

EPIGENESIS (funding : 7th PCRD – REGPOT – European Union) : One Health approach to integrate Guadeloupe research on vectorborne and emerging diseases in the ERA : from characterization of emergence mechanisms to innovative approaches for prediction and control.

OBAMA (funding : "Risks, Decisions and Territories" Programme – Commissariat général au développement durable (sustainable development division)) : Socio-anthropological observatory of arbovirus-related diseases and representation of health risks due to the colonization of metropolitan France by Aedes Albopictus.

ARBOMED : Study of Arbopathogens in the Mediterranean.

FAVELA (funded by INPES-IMMI) : Social and behavioural vulnerability factors when facing an Arbovirus-related epidemic.

Permanent expert for the Conseil National d’Expertise sur les Vecteurs (CNEV) attached to the ANSES – President of the work group on social mobilisation in vector-borne disease control - Member of the Aedes albopictus work group.

Member of the Scientific Council of the Centre de Veille et de Recherche sur les maladies infectieuses de l'Océan Indien (CRVOI), La Réunion.

Non-permanent expert at the Direction générale de l'alimentation (DGAL), the Direction Générale de la Santé, the Conseil National de l’Alimentation (CNA) and the Académie d’Agriculture de France on questions related to food risk perceptions, fears and crises.

Guest expert at the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) for the evaluation of research projects filed as part of the ALID (Alimentation et Développement Durable) and CULT (Emergences et évolutions des cultures et des phénomènes culturels) programmes, as well as the Health Research Council of New Zealand for the evaluation of SHS research applied to public health.

Courses

In charge since 2009 of the Core Module "Social and Behavioural Sciences Applied to Public Health" of the international Master of Public Health 1st and 2nd year (110 hours).

In charge since 2012 of the Human and Social Science Module "Basic public health" held for civil service students of the EHESP (60 hours).
