Curriculum

Since 2013 : Teacher-researcher at EHESP (School of Public Health) - Department of human, social sciences and health behaviour

2012-2013: in charge of studies -  Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University/ Observatory of results, professional insertion and student life (ORIVE).

  • Development and conduct of the Survey "Professional integration of graduates from Master in 2010" (definition of Survey methodology, questionnaire design, field monitoring, data coding, supervision of seizure).

2011-2012: Teaching and Research (ATER) - Montesquieu Bordeaux IV University.

2010-2011: Post-doctoral - INED (National Institute of Demographic Studies). Two successive tasks:

  • within the "Fertility, Family and Sexuality" unit: in charge of bringing to international format the database resulting from the second wave of the French survey "Study of family and intergenerational relationships" (ERFI), and document the investigation internationally.
  • within the unit "International Comparisons: analysis and projections": in charge of testing the IECM database (Integrated European Census Microdata) within the ANR 'Census' project on the topic of multigenerational cohabitation.

2009-2010: in charge of studies - evaluation of penal and penitentiary policies - Ministry of Justice / Direction of Penitentiary Administration / Under Direction of People Placed under Hand of Justice / Office of studies, prospective and methods (PMJ 5).

  • Production of statistics concerning the penal field
  • Time series analysis, projection of the people under the hand of justice
  • Production of maps (ArcGIS)
  • Studies and assessment of the implementation of new legislation

2009: PhD in Demography, under the direction of Professor Christophe Bergouignan - Montesquieu Bordeaux IV University.

  • Subject: The geography of AIDS in Western Europe: a demographic approach.

2008-2009: Young Researcher for SIDACTION - Montesquieu Bordeaux IV University / IEDUB

  • PhD funding granted from SIDACTION, within the "supporting scientific and medical research 2008" programme.

Research

My research particularly concerned:

  • The geography of AIDS in Western Europe
  • The transmission of regional languages, especially the Basque language and its impact on the identity construction (with a demographer colleague)
  • Harmonizing documentation into international format for the second wave of the French longitudinal study "Studies of family and intergenerational relationships" (ERFI) within the unit "Fertility, Family, sexuality" at INED
  • Intergenerational cohabitation and the spatial heterogeneity of family forms in France and Spain from the IECM database (Integrated European Census Microdata) in ANR Census project, under the supervision of Patrick Festy, in the "international Comparisons" unit at INED.

Since 2013, I joined the "Health, regulation of risks and uncertainties" team.

Courses

I teach in the Master in Public Health: Social Sciences Pathway and the Master in Disability and Social Participation.

My teaching activities focus on:

  • a demographic overview of public health issues,
  • methodology of survey,
  • statistics,
  • mapping
  • and applied informatics.
