The student information office is there to provide any information you may require about living on the EHESP campus – accommodation (accommodation on the campus and alternative accommodation pdf, 20 kb), catering facilities, crèches and all other facilities available on the campus.

Welcome guide for international students and scholars

How can I come to France? Where can I find accommodation? Should I contract health insurance? What is the cost of living? What is the weather like in Brittany?
There is a dedicated welcome guide to answer all these questions. It contains many useful information to prepare your stay in France and to meet your needs after your arrival.

Student associations

TEMSPO

Trainee directors of health, welfare and care establishments organised a dance and rock show in support of ESPOIR 35, an association in Ille-et-Vilaine working for the mentally handicapped.

EHESP and EDHEC

The EHESP’s Entre Terre et Mer association organises the participation of EHESP students in the EDHEC Cup sailing race.

EHESP Conseil

EHESP Conseil was set up in 1987 to provide audit and consultancy services to those working in the health and welfare world in legal, finance, logistic and organisational fields.
It has provided generations of trainee hospital directors with the opportunity of applying the school’s teaching to the reality on the ground, gaining practical experience and meeting health professionals.

Interdisciplinary publication, published quarterly, discussion and comments on various topical issues.

Library

  • 30,000 visitors per year
  • 50,000 searches of the document database per year
  • 8,000 loans per year

The documentation centre is the second largest contributor to the Public Health Database Network. It is also involved in the COUPERIN university digital periodical consortium.

The documentation centre is first and foremost intended for the use of students, trainee students and EHESP lecturers and scientists but it is also open to outside personnel such as professionals in the health and welfare system.

It covers many public health fields: state of health of populations, environmental risks, social action and protection, hospitals and health establishments, management of health establishments and systems, drawing up and evaluating health and welfare policies, etc.

Opening times (excluding school holidays)

  • Monday: 13.00 – 19.00
  • Tuesday – Thursday: 08.30 – 19.00
  • Friday: 08.30 – 16.45

Services available to all

  • independent consultation of EHESP databases and on-line resources
  • consultation of unrestricted documents (books and magazines in the news room)
  • consultation and loan of theses written by EHESP students
  • photocopies: €0.10

Services on presentation of student card or EHESP library card

  • assistance in finding documents
  • provision of collections of reviews, CDs and archived documents
  • loan of documents

Registration for external public
€23 for 6 months – €38.50 for 1 year

Remote services

  • dispatch of theses

Loan

  • Number of documents: 1 to 15 for a period of 1 to 3 weeks
    Magazines for the current year may not be taken away
