From 1 to 3 September 2025, EHESP will be welcoming its new students (Masters 1 and 2), including the 1st and 2nd years of the Master of Public Health (MPH), who will now be grouped together on its campus in Rennes. As every year, the first three days at EHESP will be punctuated by welcome sessions for each year’s intake, plenary sessions, thematic sessions and social events.

Welcome to EHESP!

3 days to encourage exchanges between classes and discover EHESP

To facilitate the integration of new students, particularly international students, this new academic year is organised by class but also by inter-class groups, particularly for the diversity fresco workshop and training on the fight against sexist and sexual violence (SGBV), central themes of the School’s educational project.

Plenary sessions are also organised to enable students to learn about the history of EHESP, the Tobacco Free Campus approach – a specific feature of the school – and to familiarise themselves with the various support services and access to the school’s resources. Professional integration and the internationalisation of student training courses will also be discussed during these 3-day.

Focus on Public Health Research

To mark the start of the 2025-26 academic year, a series dedicated to public health research entitled ‘My research in 5 minutes’ is being organised for all students.

Juste Goungounga, Emmanuelle Godeau, Marick Fèvre, Arthur David, Léontine Helbert, Nicolas Sirven and Nolwenn Le Meur – all doctoral students or researchers at EHESP – will succeed each other in the Simone Veil  amphitheatre to present, in 5 minutes using a slide or an object, their research works on topics such as:

  • Research about School toilets use, by Emmanuelle Godeau
  • Health data: from individual care to public health, by Juste Goungounga
  • Chemical exposome: from large scale applications to deep characterization, by Arthur David
  • The cost of hospital absenteeism, by Nicolas Sirven
  • Challenges of modelling care pathways based on real-life data, by Nolwenn Le Meur

This sequence will provide a dynamic presentation of the current public health researches at EHESP and, who knows, perhaps inspire some future careers…
