This book explores the employability policies for young people in France and Europe, including the challenges, the history and the content. It shows how France is positioned vis-à-vis this sector of the population that draws the attention of politicians, although government intervention has proved insufficient. Integrating and mobilizing young people are vital issues for the development of society.

The author, Patricia Loncle is a political scientist and sociologist, lecturer and researcher at the EHESP and member of the research center on public policy in Europe.
