Symposium organized by the National Convention of Associations for Child Protection (CNAPE) in collaboration with EHESP and Actif (training, information, consulting), on March 14 and 15, 2013.

In the current context of public policy trends, associations have to constantly adapt and do better and more with less. Moreover, with the growing influence of European law on national policies, it is important to look to Europe and the different models used elsewhere. Thus, the European Union, in its 2010-2020 strategy for people with disabilities, and the Council of Europe, with its recommendation on the deinstitutionalization of children with disabilities and their life in civil society, are extremely concerned with these issues.

During these two days, specialists from Italy, Norway, Poland and Sweden will present the details of their model of care, their specific problems and their way of anticipating the issues in terms of education, health, culture, recreation, deinstitutionalization, etc.
