Held on the 15th and 16th September 2016 at EHESP Paris, this 4th research seminar aimed at carrying on the discussions on the employment of persons with disabilities in the public sector started in 2013. It brought together 16 participants from 10 European countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Sweden).

During this two-day seminar, some examples of promising practices collected by the participants were considered as well as perspectives to disseminate this work.

These seminars are part of a project whose objectives are to:

  • Map, across European countries involved in the project, the situation of the employment of persons with disabilities in the public sector: looking at policies enforced and at statistical data;
  • Share concrete and innovative solutions as well as best practices on the employment of people with disabilities in the public sector.
