In December 2017, EHESP obtained from the European Commission the “HR Excellence in Research” label for its European Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) implementation. This strategy aims to improve the practices of organizations and institutions working in the field of research and employment conditions. Obtaining this label validates the commitment of the School in this process and the EHESP’s participation in the construction of the European Research Area and the quality of its human resources policy.

The implication of EHESP in this European label is the result of a dynamic set up within the School for several years. In fact, EHESP first signed the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers in August 2016. After an in-depth study of its application form, the evaluators welcomed the work implemented by the EHESP’ human resources policy to make it correspond to the European Charter and the European Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers drawn up by the European Commission. A full analysis of the application shows that the EHESP action plan meets the requirements of the “HR Excellence in Research” label. This designation will promote the quality of the school’s procedures for recruiting and evaluating researchers, as well as an attractive and stimulating work environment. In addition, this label will contribute to increasing the attractiveness of EHESP among the European Union.
