The Chair in Management of Health Facilities organises monthly thematic seminars with 2 dimensions: academic issues and managerial practices. Participants will be able to share experiences at the forum. The seminar is a preparatory step to writing and publishing articles.
In practice
- Target audience: These seminars are aimed at professionals working in health care facilities who wish to examine management practices using a scientific approach in conjunction with researchers in management science.
- Content: A seminar has three phases: an introductory presentation by a speaker, presentation(s) of innovative experiences by participants, and a collective exchange and analysis.
- The monthly seminars are held on Friday morning.

Introductory seminar
Objective: To answer the main questions of professionals who want to step back and examine their management practices from a scientific perspective. What is research in hospital management? What is the relationship between field work and academic work? What is a thesis in management science? What is scholarly publication? How to produce knowledge on hospital management based on field experience? How to present work at conferences? How to publish empirical work in academic journals?
